Greetings everybody!
I am curious to learn how others feel recent research will impact their practices on peri-procedural bridging in warfarin patients.
A large RCT (BRIDGE study) was recently published in NEJM, which supported the conclusions from another large, retrospective study (ORBIT-AF), demonstrating little or no benefit from peri-procedural bridging in patients treated with warfarin for non-valvular atrial fibrillation. Will these new data change which patient populations you recommend be bridged?
